DB12 VOLANTE | THE ULTIMATE OPEN-TOP SUPER TOURER
This is no mere GT. An icon reborn and reinvented. Smoothed and chiselled into the shape of a Volante and given free rein to cut through continents, erase expectations and completely redefine the open-top category. This is DB12 Volante. As jaw dropping as it is roof raising. DB12 Volante cruises with a K-fold roof to take the grand to the super with scything style and an aesthetic side profile. Opening and closing in a class-leading time. While giving you the freedom to bare the interior to the world for an open-air theatre of performance.
Developed in parallel with its Coupe stablemate, DB12 Volante boasts the same game-changing design, engineering and technology advances made by this latest evolution of Aston Martin’s most distinguished nameplate. With class-leading power and performance and purebred sports car dynamics, it is a transformative evolution. One that unashamedly positions the DB12 Volante as a true driver’s car first and foremost.
ENGINEERING AND PERFORMANCE
Propelled by power and purified by performance. DB12 Volante is made piece by piece and inch by inch to seek the speed of missiles. While injecting the cockpit with a turbocharged tourer experience intensity.
ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, & POWERTRAIN
Blowing the top off performance. The twin-turbo V8 delivers a class-leading 680PS for a top speed of 202mph and comes forged with 800Nm of torque. Letting every ounce of power pour over the road without a roof to stop sound soaring around every edge of the cabin. Putting you at the heart of the ultimate roaring racing experience.
An addition to the transmission. For the first time in an Aston Martin GT model, an automatic ZF 8-speed transmission comes twinned with an electronic limited slip rear differential. Working in harmony to thread each wheel with venom and pirouette power into place. Cutting acceleration time across the mid-range. Taking your super tourer to super racing heights.
EXTERIOR
An open-top model made to marvel. Sleek, beautiful and scythed with sharpness. Carved to let torque flow through its heart-stealing body. And embellished with a reimagined and redesigned finely folded roof. Taking top-down driving to super levels while adding air to the already debonair.
DB12 Volante has been strengthened with a 6mm front and 22mm rear increase in track width flowing through to the body width. Bulking with broader shoulders for greater road presence and intimidating with every added inch.
DB12 Volante is crowned by a K-fold roof, opening to the atmosphere in a class-leading 14 seconds. And able to close even when you’re cruising at up to 35mph. All without impacting the aesthetic of the side profile. Folded and formed to a mere 260mm stack height, giving a seamless rear profile and maximising luggage capacity. The roof canopy stands acoustically enhanced and incorporates eight layers of insulation materials for improved interior cabin comfort.
INTERIOR
An interior lined with digital intelligence, stitched with smarter sound and pulsing with never-seen-before infotainment. DB12 Volante wraps your senses in technology. Lines your cabin with the optimum blend of analogue controls and digital technology. The handcrafted past meets the fine-tuned future.
Meet the infotainment system made to match the capabilities of the first ever super tourer. Designed, engineered and tailored in house. Built to support wireless Apple CarPlay™ and for the first time, born with voice control. Making satellite navigation, your favourite tracks and any app stand to attention. With your voice alone. A premier screening. DB12 Volante courses with clarity thanks to the highest definition touch screen in any car in the category with full capacitive touch control. Imprinted with enlightened graphics, setting the precedent for every Aston Martin to come.
Ease in the palm of your hand. We’ve centred DB12 Volante around intelligence in the shape of the connectivity app. Feeding on feedback and putting updates and upgrades in the safety of your phone. With many improvements still to come. Letting the open-top car learn from every drive and evolve with an arsenal of features as soon as they’re available.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
