Vanquish-Ultimate Grand Tourer

2013 marked a century of Aston Martin. A century of producing the most beautiful and desirable cars in the world. We knew our centenary demanded something special. Our mission was to produce the greatest Aston Martin in history, a new flagship to lead us into our second century. With the most advanced engineering, the most beautiful design and the finest materials, we created the ultimate Aston Martin. We created Vanquish.

One goal: produce the greatest Aston Martin in history. With a proud lineage, including some of the most beautiful cars ever created, it was a task few would have attempted.

A Fusion of Design & Engineering

World-leading design. A century of engineering excellence. The New Vanquish is the embodiment of Aston Martin in the 21st century. Take the stunning new rear Aero Duct. Elegantly designed, yet a crucial engineering asset. This subtle feature counteracts lift at high speed but also ensures the lithe shape of Vanquish continues through the rear of the car. A triumph of both design and technical ability.

Vanquish isn’t just constructed from carbon-fibre, it’s also styled with it. A continuous ring of exposed 2×2 twill weave sees the splitter, light-catching side skirts and rear diffuser blend together to plant the car visually. We don’t stop there. We also measure and position the material exactly so the subtle weave flows precisely to accentuate the car’s elegance. With an optional exposed carbon-fibre roof, door handles and wing mirrors and exquisite interior carbon-fibre elements, Vanquish is cloaked in a suit of carbon.

Unique Engine Technology

The 2015 Vanquish is equipped with the AM29 V12 engine – the most powerful GT production engine in Aston Martin history. 568 bhp of power. 201 mph top speed. 0-60mph in just 3.6 secs. Vanquish has the greatest performance numbers ever reached in an Aston Martin, it’s not a Grand Tourer, it’s a Super Grand Tourer.

Impressive figures are backed by an advanced development story. Produced at our bespoke engine facility in Cologne, our engineers worked tirelessly to create an engine which mated seamlessly to the character and performance our development team requested. The process delivered clear technical advances. The debut of dual variable valve timing. Enlarged throttle bodies. Fully machined combustion chambers. A ‘big wing’ intake manifold.

The Ultimate Interior

Aston Martin’s craftsmanship skills with leather are renowned. Each Vanquish is trimmed to exacting standards.

The embossed Strathmore leather comes as standard and gives absolute consistency.Upgrade to either Caithness, for a luxury ambience, or Balmoral, to experience semi-aniline leather of the highest quality. Hand-selected from the top 10-percent of raw hide then milled and framed by hand for an incredibly smooth feel, the Balmoral finish is unparallelled.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.

Posted Notice Requirement

Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties

Civil and Criminal Penalties

As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.

Required Written Notices

If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
